The Tunkhannock Area School Board recently recognized the Tunkhannock Lions Club for its part in supporting the school district in implementing a new Social Emotional Learning curriculum. Lions Club International Foundation funded a grant in the amount of $15,000 which will used to purchase the Lions Quest Social Emotional Learning curriculum for grades K-6. This program focuses on self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making.
