The Luzerne County Community College Communication Arts Department and the LCCC Photography Club recently hosted a lecture by renowned local photographer John Levandoski at the college’s Educational Conference Center.

Levandoski’s presentation, “Living, Working and Photographing in Yellowstone National Park,” included a showing of his work and discussion about the technical skills needed to create fine art landscape photographs, the aesthetic qualities necessary to make a successful image, and the equipment required for a career in photography.

Levandoski is an area native who has been a professional photographer for more than 35 years. He has shown and sold his work at local venues throughout northeast Pennsylvania and also at art festivals in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.
