Fishing Season does not officially begin in Pennsylvania until apring, but if you visited the Saint Jude 3-year-old pre-school recently you would have thought it was in full swing. Students learned about numbers, letters and colors as they fished for animal life. They were treated to a life-sized boat to ride in and fishing poles to cast. Although this trip was a “catch and release” adventure, the memories will be sure to hook students on learning for some time to come. Here, Eva Orloski and Catherine Schlude look to hook “the big one” as they learn in the Saint Jude preschool program.
