Brady’s Lake Hike at State Game Lands 127, part of hiking series. Join a naturalist at 9 a.m. June 15 at Brady’s Lake, off Route 940. Approximate address is 106 Brady’s Lake Road, Pocono Pines, PA 18350. Drive about 3 miles on dirt road to reach Brady’s Lake, where we will hike 4 miles and listen for birds. Birding at Frances Slocum, a leisurely walk through the park to seek out beautiful birds with Bruce Troy of Wild Birds Unlimited. 8:30 a.m. June 16. Frances Slocum State Park, Kingston Township. Life in the Pond, for ages 5 and older. Dip nets will be used to see what creatures are living in the water at the edge of the pond. 2 p.m. June 16. Wet and muddy conditions; wear boots or shoes that can get wet. Meet at gravel parking lot at bottom of Campground Road at Frances Slocum State Park in Kingston Township. First Day of Summer Hike, through the Grand View Trial to see the mountain laurel in bloom. Bring a camera. Hike is a moderate, 2-mile trek. 9 to 11 a.m. June 21.
