Nativity of Our Lord Parish Festival, 6 to 11 p.m. July 6, 5 to 11:30 p.m. July 7 and 5 to 10 p.m. July 8, Stephenson Street, Duryea, with specialty stands ranging from Disney and designer purse to tool and hockey and plant and garden; face painting, cash raffle, flea market. Menu includes volcano fries, corn on the cob, hand-dipped ice cream and much more.

Play Fore the Kids, the McGlynn Learning Center will host its 12th annual golf tournament July 20 at Mountain Laurel Golf Course, White Haven. The tournament will be a scramble format with registration beginning at 9 a.m. and shotgun at 10 a.m. Registration fee is $100 per golfer with a tournament limit of 120 golfers. Breakfast includes Dunkin Donuts and coffee. Fees include: 18 holes, cart, green fees and buffet dinner. Non-golfers can join for dinner for $30 per person. Several levels of sponsorships available include: Birdie, Par, Hole and Cart. Proceeds benefit the McGlynn Learning Center. Plymouth Alive Original Kielbasa Festival, will take place Aug. 10 and 11 on Main Street in downtown Plymouth. This year’s theme is “Stayin Alive.”

Grant-writing workshop for non-profits. 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 13 at Penn State University Hazleton Campus, 76 University Drive, Hazleton.
