Introduction to Kayaking for Seniors, 1 p.m. July 17, Nescopeck State Park, Honey Hole Road, Drums. Lake Frances is perfect for beginners. This hour-long session is for folks who have never kayaked before. You must register in advance by calling 570-403-2006. Wear shorts and shoes that can get wet and meet park staff at Lake Frances in the park. $5 per person, payable the day of the program with exact change required.

Lake paddle for experienced paddlers, ages 9 and older, 5:30 p.m. July 17, Nescopeck State Park, Honey Hole Road, Drums. This course is not instructional so you should have attended Nescopeck’s introductory course or have kayak experience in order to sign up. Register in advance at 570-403-2006.
