A life long resident of the area, Dr. Bloom-Trosky graduated from Northwest Area School District before continuing her education at Bloomsburg University, where she earned her Doctorate in Audiology. Her passion for the profession is also deeply personal. Having experienced hearing loss herself and worn hearing aids, she understands firsthand the challenges, frustrations, and life-changing benefits that come with better hearing. That personal perspective allows her to connect with patients on a unique level
and helps shape the compassionate approach she brings to every appointment.
After completing her education and clinical training, she knew she wanted to return home and create a different kind of hearing practice — one focused on individualized care rather than sales quotas or high pressure retail tactics.
That vision became a reality in 2018 when she opened Back Mountain Hearing Care. Since then, the practice has built a reputation for providing thorough diagnostic evaluations, personalized treatment plans, hearing aid fittings, auditory processing disorder evaluations and treatment, earwax removal, and ongoing hearing healthcare tailored to each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle.
Dr. Bloom-Trosky believes hearing care should never feel rushed or transactional. Instead of operating as a retail-style hearing aid office, Back Mountain Hearing Care emphasizes education, diagnostics, and long-term relationships with patients.
