‘Hollow Planet,’ a young adult fiction novel, is written by Scranton native Andrew Tolan

SCRANTON — Andrew Tolan, a Scranton native, recently published his debut young adult fiction novel “Hollow Planet.” The story mixes elements of science fiction and fantasy and follows the journey of protagonist, Daniel Morrison., into a mystical world that has been kept hidden from the masses. During this journey, Daniel faces many obstacles and the more he learns, the more he’s unsure of who to trust.

Although the novel is still very much in its infancy, “Hollow Planet” has fans spanning all over the United States as well as Germany, Mexico, Denmark, and the UK.

“Hollow Planet” is available on Amazon in both eBook and paperback formats. In a few months, Tolan aims to also get his book available on Barnes and Noble and Apple’s iBooks to help reach even more readers.

The Abington Heights Middle School accepted “Hollow Planet” as a welcome addition to the shelves of their school library for students to check out.
