SCRANTON — Members of Lackawanna College Police Academy Class 218 have started planning the Lackawanna College Police Academy Protect & Defend 5K Run/Walk to benefit Pennsylvania State Police Cpl. Bryon Dickson and Tpr. Alex Douglass Funds. The event will take place on Sunday, May 24 at the Greater Scranton YMCA, 706 N. Blakely St., Dunmore. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the run will start at 9:30 a.m.
