SCRANTON — Marywood University’s School of Business and Global Innovation will hold its 13th annual business and ethics forum: Ethics, Leadership, and Corporate Social Responsibility, from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23 in the Latour Room, Nazareth Student Center, on campus. This event is free and open to the public.

The keynote speaker for the forum is Lauren Walters, co-founder of Two Degrees Food, a one-for-one food company that produces vegan snack bars. For every food bar the company sells, it donates a meal to a child in need. The company has contributed to the battle against hunger in numerous countries in North America, South America, and Africa.

This year, students from Marywood University’s School of Business and Global Innovation and a cross-disciplinary competition team will present at the conference. These presentations are examples of how Marywood Millennials embrace these themes.

An evening panel discussion will cap the event and offer experts and practitioners a forum to present their views on how businesses can take steps to become forces for good within their organizations and their larger communities.
