At a recent meeting of the board of supervisors of Lehman Township, representatives from the Back Mountain Food Pantry presented a certificate of appreciation to the board in recognition of its continued support of the food pantry. The board approved a food pantry vegetable garden to be operated on township property and helped secure a grant to improve the property to include a road, fencing, trees and more. The garden produces hundreds of pounds of fresh vegetables which are given to clients of the pantry.
