Scouts from Boy Scout Troop 281 and Cub Scout Pack 281 participated in the Scout Sunday service on Feb. 22 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Dallas.

The Scouts formed a color guard for the opening of the service, helped hand out church bulletins, collected the offering and took part in the reading of the Scout law litany and the scriptures. The service began with the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of God Bless America.

The Deacons at Trinity hosted a reception in the fellowship hall to celebrate the birthday of Scouting and its more than 100 years of building future leaders of our country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. It is noteworthy that many of the leaders in Scouting are parents of Scouts.
