WILKES-BARRE — Curry Donuts on Public Square has been shuttered for several days, with a June 11 notice on the door saying that it had been deemed ‘unfit for human habitation’ due to there being no electrical service.

According to a representative from Mayor George Brown’s office, Wilkes-Barre fire crews responded due to issues with the business’ electrical service, and it will remain shut down until repairs are made.

Attempts to reach Curry Donuts for comment were not successful.
