Police are seen investigating after a shooting in the area of Huber and Stanton streets on Thursday evening

WILKES-BARRE — Police on Thursday evening responded to the area of Huber and Stanton streets for a reported shooting.
One person, a Black male, was seen being loaded into an ambulance at about 8:15 p.m.
Police taped of both sections of Huber Park and the area in front of a home on Stanton Street, where a pool of blood lay in the driveway.
Officers did not speak with members of the media on Thursday night before leaving the scene, so official details are sparse, but at least one individual, a Black male appearing to be a juvenile, was taken into custody.
