Luzerne County Judge David W. Lupas issued bench warrants for two people who failed to appear at their sentencing hearings Tuesday.
Jonathan Steve, 33, of Roushey Street, Shavertown, was scheduled to be sentenced on a charge of propel missile into an occupied vehicle and disorderly conduct. He pleaded guilty to the charges Oct. 15 and was free on his own recognizance.
Kingston Township police charged Steve with throwing a rock that smashed the windshield of a moving vehicle at Pioneer Avenue and Roushey Street on May 24, according to court records.
Destiny Tanya Thomas, 25, last known address as Parkview Circle, Sherman Hills, Wilkes-Barre, was scheduled to be sentenced on two counts of endangering the welfare of children and a single count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. She pleaded guilty to the charges Nov. 30 and was free on $25,000 bail.
Wilkes-Barre police charged Thomas during a traffic stop then they allegedly found bags of suspected marijuana in the vehicle on Aug. 18, 2020. Police learned during the traffic stop Thomas left two children unsupervised in her apartment, according to court records.
