HANOVER TWP. — One man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly firing a gunshot into an occupied structure at the Dundee Apartments complex.
Tyshawn J. Lee, 25, of Hanover Township was arrested after state police located him in Stroudsburg after the alleged incident.
According to a release from the Hanover Township Police Department, officers were dispatched to the apartment complex shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday morning for a reported gunshot.
Through the course of their investigation, police discovered that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute, and that Lee had fired into a single gunshot into the building before fleeing the area.
After a Be on the Lookout alert was put out for Lee, he was arrested by state police in Stroudsburg.
According to the news release, Lee was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Joseph Halesey and charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, simple assault and harassment.
He was lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for failure to post $100,000 straight cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 22 in Luzerne County Central Court.
