Our area’s original readers’ awards, Best of the Best spotlights the region’s finest across over 100 categories annually. “During our 17-day nomination phase, which closed Jan. 30, we received over 30,000 nominations as well as several calls and emails from our voters excited to see who made it to the final voting round,” Advertising Manager Diane McGee said.

That broad interest from readers follows enhancements made to the longstanding program in 2021.

“The nomination phase was record-breaking for us this year,” Publisher Kerry Miscavage said. “I am very proud that our inaugural program in this market has really made a difference in helping our business partners stand out.”

In our voting phase, which runs from today through Feb. 25, you will be able to go into the ballot and vote for the top five nominees per category.

When the voting round is over, the ballot will select the top winners in each category. We always celebrate our Platinum winners (winners of five years or more), Gold and then Silver winners.

The winners will be announced March 26-27.

“Best of luck to all of the nominees,” Miscavage said. “Visit timesleader.com today to see the wide range of local businesses that you can help with just a few clicks.”
