WILKES-BARRE — With primary elections looming, U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick will be back in town Friday along with Senator Ted Cruz supporting.

McCormick and Cruz will be attending the Luzerne County Firehouse Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at 150 Watson Street.

“Pennsylvania needs a true battle-tested America First fighter to fight for their values,” Cruz said via a release. “If you want a bad (expletive), U.S. Army veteran with backbone in the Senate, Dave McCormick is that leader who will go to Washington and work to defend and protect our values.”

McCormick’s Friday morning stop is the third on his current tour of the commonwealth. The day prior, he will be in Montgomery County and Allegheny County. He then heads to Lancaster County around lunchtime on Friday.

McCormick was in town back on April 28, with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, campaigning at American Legion Post 609 in Hanover Township.
