Job seekers interested in finding a position in the healthcare industry are invited to check out the Times Leader’s second Healthcare Hiring Event, coming up on Wednesday at the Hilton Garden Inn on Highland Park Boulevard.
The event, scheduled for 12 to 3 p.m. on June 29, will present an opportunity for interested applicants to check out a handful of the area’s biggest healthcare providers.
“We like these smaller type of events in addition to our large career fairs so job seekers can spend more quality time with the recruiter and possibly be hired on the spot,” said Times Leader publisher Kerry Miscavage.
Providers participating in the Healthcare Hiring Event:
• River View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center;
• The Wright Center;
• the Insitute for Human Resources;
• Guardian Healthcare; and
• Maternal and Family Health.
The smaller fair will allow for job seekers to get to spend more face-to-face time with potential employers, and take the first steps to joining a growing sector in the workforce.
