KINGSTON — State Rep. Aaron Kaufer,R-Kingston, announced that he was recently appointed to the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency Board of Directors.

“At a time when student loan balances are in the national spotlight, I look forward to getting to work with my fellow board members to find strategies to provide more affordable access to higher education,” Kaufer said.

As a member of the board of directors, Kaufer said he will support the mission of the agency to provide affordable access to higher education, both in the 120th Legislative District and throughout Pennsylvania.

Kaufer will serve a four-year term.
