Balogh announces campaign for magisterial district judge in Kingston/Edwardsville

KINGSTON — Chaz Balogh of Kingston announced his candidacy for Magisterial District Judge 11-1-05 that covers Kingston and Edwardsville in Luzerne County.

A veteran detective, Balogh has more than 30 years of experience as a deputy sheriff, a local law enforcement officer and a detective spending much of that time with the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office.

As a detective, Balogh is a member of the Crimes against Children/Special Victims Unit, Pennsylvania (Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police Northeast Computer Crime Task Force.

Balogh has attended hundreds of hours of specialized training during his law enforcement career and has focused his work in crimes against children, child sexual exploitation and computer crimes.

Balogh is engaged to Julanne Hogan, and has a daughter, Lauren, and three Labrador retrievers: Slugger, Sarge and canine Spike.
