HAZLETON — The NEPA Task Force Against Human Trafficking held its fourth Regional Training on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the Penn State Hazleton Campus, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Police.

This presentation was attended by more than 150 professionals, consisting of victims services advocates, social workers, health care workers, attorneys and law enforcement personnel.

Presenters and panel members included: AUSA Sean Camoni, AUSA Jenny Pane Roberts, Tammi Burke, Victims Resource Center; Trooper Jessica L. Williams, Joe Peters, Wyoming County District Attorney; Sam Sanguedolce, Luzerne County District Attorney; Suzanne Beck, Victims Resource Center and Task Force Co-Chair; and Robert Carpenter, Emergency Medical Services of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Inc.

Raising awareness is one of the primary goals of the Task Force, which also does presentations for community groups upon request.
