WILKES-BARRE — MotorWorld Toyota recently presented a $15,000 grant donation through MileOneCares, a corporate giving program for MileOne Autogroup, in support of the Wilkes-Barre City Police Canine Unit and their community policing initiative.

The grant will go toward the addition of a canine to the department, which is committed to the safety and well-being of the community.

Mayor George Brown presented MotorWorld|MileOne Autogroup with a proclamation recognizing the commitment and support they have provided to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department.

MotorWorld|MileOne Autogroup has been a constant and consistent partner of the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department. The organization has supported the department by providing equipment to the WBPD vehicle fleet and has provided continuous support to the Wilkes-Barre Police K-9 Program through monetary donations.
