WEST PITTSTON — Flames tore through a vacant Foundry Street home that was previously damaged by a two-alarm blaze in 2022.

Crews were dispatched to 846 Foundry St. at 9:20 p.m. Friday night. When they arrived at the fully involved blaze they couldn’t even get inside the home, Fire Chief John Hood said.

No injuries were reported and no one was believed to be inside the house at the time.

The house was seriously damaged by flames in a February 2022 blaze that left one man having to be treated for smoke inhalation.
