WILKES-BARRE — McCarthy Tire Service announced the opening of its in-house commercial wheel refinishing facility.

The company said this new addition boasts a capacity of refinishing more than 1,000 wheels per day, significantly enhancing McCarthy Tire’s commitment to comprehensive fleet maintenance solutions.

Finance manager honored

WILKES-BARRE — Tim Lambert, finance manager at McCarthy Tire Service Co. Inc., was named the 2024 40 and Under Innovator Community Champion by the Luzerne Foundation.

Lambert, who holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from King’s College, is a dedicated volunteer, serving as board treasurer for Fork Over Love and the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce, among others.

Lambert’s commitment to community service is evident in his involvement in various committees and boards, including the The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA Fire and Ice Gala committee and the Luzerne Foundation’s Young Professionals Giving committee. Lambert and all of the Community Champions will be honored Thursday at the Westmoreland Club.
