Approximately 70 military helicopters will fly through AVP’s airspace Saturday through Monday, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport announced Friday in a Facebook post.

According to the post:

AVP officials were informed the helicopters will depart from the Rome, N.Y., area in small groups, continuing through AVP’s airspace to their final destination in the Philadelphia area. The times are unknown could vary each day.

The public is advised that this is only an exercise and there is no need for concern.
