MOUNTAIN TOP — To provide continued convenient access to state services for district residents, Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver will host office hours Thursday, June 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rice Township Building, 3000 Church Road, Mountain Top.
Culver, R-Northumberland County, will host office hours at the Rice Township Building on the third Thursday of each month.
“Offering monthly office hours in different areas of the district enables my staff and me to reach and serve more people,” Culver said. “I appreciate the great people at Rice Township who reached out to my office and offered some space at their facility so we can deliver this important service to the community.”
Culver will provide the same services at the Rice Township Building that are available at her other offices, including assistance with Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications, unemployment compensation claims and PennDOT paperwork. Staff also will provide information about state legislation and make referrals to agencies to resolve state-related matters.
Residents should call the Luzerne County office at 570-387-4267 to reserve time with staff during the Rice Township outreach hours.
