PLAINS TWP. — State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski recently hosted a veterans’ information session to provide veterans in the community with resources and services that are available to them.
“There are many great programs and services that are available to veterans that they may not be aware of,” said Pashinski, D-Wilkes-Barre. “There was a great turnout of veterans to learn about these programs that will help maximize their quality of living. Veterans have given so much for their country in their service and ensuring our freedoms are protected. Making their lives easier and ensuring these services are accessible to them is a primary focus of our district office.”
Members from the Luzerne County Veterans Affairs Office and the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs were in attendance to help veterans with a variety of programs and services.
The event was held at the Joseph E. Conlon American Legion Post 558 in Plains Township.
