Joe’s Early Bird 5K and Walk was held Sunday morning at Kirby Park in support of Times Leader Executive Editor Joe Soprano, who is battling esophageal cancer.

The community event featured a basket raffle, a one-mile walk, and, of course, a 5K run. Proceeds will help Soprano and his family with medical costs.

One raffle will remain open through Oct. 16 for Penn State football White Out tickets. To donate and enter the raffle, visit https://bit.ly/3AY4FO9. Raffle tickets are $25 each or five for $100.
