HANOVER TWP. — A school bus transporting students from Hanover Area Jr./Sr. High School crashed head-on with a tractor trailer at South Main and Ashley streets just before 2:30 p.m.
No students were injured that involved Bus 1, according to an alert sent to parents from the school.
Hanover Township police and fire department responded and evaluated the students before another bus arrived to transport them to their bus stops.
The intersection is controlled by a stop sign for motorists traveling on Ashley Street turning onto South Main Street with a continuous flashing light.
The bus had front end damage and was towed from the scene by Ayers Towing.
