HANOVER TWP. — The Hanover Township Little League has been concentrating its resources on maintaining its fields and ensuring every child has access to the equipment they need to play.

As a result, the concession stand is in need of some critical upgrades and repairs.

By revitalizing this space, the goal of a Leadership Northeast project committee — “Little League Legends” — is to enhance the experience for players, families and the community, helping to support the league for years to come.

“Little League Legends” is part of the Leadership Northeast Core Class of 2025, and they are partnering with the Hanover Township Little League for the community impact project.

“We plan to clean, paint and provide much-needed commercial equipment to bring the stand to its optimum efficiency,” the committee said in a news release. “They need items like a commercial fryer, a beverage cooler, warmers, a good coffee maker, picnic tables and more.”

“Little League Legends” will host a fundraiser from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 1 at Benny Brewing Co., 1429 Sans Souci Parkway. Tickets are $30, which includes admission, a buffet, live music with “Unpolished: The Band,” and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a happy hour on beer from 1 to 3 p.m., basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing.

“Please join us in our effort for the kids so they can enjoy getting outside and being part of a team,” the committee said in a statement.

Tickets are available for purchase from any team member or at https://bit.ly/4jjwl1t. For information, visit the “Little League Legends – LNE Community Impact Project” Facebook page.
