WILKES-BARRE — A 29-year-old woman reported to city police she was threatened by a man who showed her a firearm while they were walking their dogs on West River Street on Wednesday.
She reported she was walking her dog when she asked a man to “move aside” to prevent her dog from interacting with his dog at about 9 p.m.
She claimed he man lifted his shirt to show a firearm in his waistband and said, “you’re messing with the wrong guy” before leaving the scene.
Police said they are investigating.
