PLAINS TWP. — A Kingston man remained jailed Friday at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility after he was arrested on burglary and domestic assault charges in Plains Township.

Police say they responded to a residence on Second Street on a report a man, identified as Rahkeem Shawn Goodwin, 22, chased a woman, put his hands around her neck and threatened to kill her just after 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

The woman broke free from Goodwin and ran for help.

Goodwin was arraigned by District Judge Ferris Webby of Wright Township on charges of burglary, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. He remained jailed for lack of $25,000 bail.
