A burning body was discovered in Hazleton early Sunday morning, according to the Hazleton City Police Department.
Officials said the Hazleton City Fire Department responded around 7 a.m. to a report of a possible mannequin on fire in the area of Club 40 Road and East Broad Street.
Upon arriving at the fire, firefighters noticed it was not a mannequin and requested the Hazleton City Police Department to the scene.
Police said there is no information about the victim or the cause of the incident at this time.
Hazleton City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit and the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Investigation Unit is actively investigating the incident.
