WILKES-BARRE — City police say they are investigating a robbery that involved a firearm in the 500 block of South Franklin Street early Sunday morning.

A 24-year-old man told police he was approached by two men near Garfield Street when he was confronted by two men wearing ski masks at about 12:20 a.m.

One of the suspects brandished a firearm and ordered him to the ground as the other suspect removed his belongings.
