WILKES-BARRE — A Plains Township man accused by Pittston Township police of following a boy inside a restroom and performing a lewd act was sentenced to up to 11 years in state prison.
Luzerne County Judge Joseph F. Sklarosky Jr. sentenced Tyler James Wylie 23, last known address as Jumper Road, to five to 11 years in prison and five years probation on a single count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. Wylie pled guilty to the charge Jan. 31.
Police in Pittston Township charged Wylie with following a boy inside a restroom at Walmart and performed a lewd act on the child on May 12, 2022, according to court records.
