WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Republicans gathered at the Wilkes-Barre Twp. Fire Hall on Tuesday evening for petition-signing for candidates running in the 2026 Primary Election. The event was sponsored by the Republican Women of Luzerne County (RWLC).

Incumbents and others seeking office in the Primary were on hand for the event.

Congressmen Dan Meuser and Rob Bresnahan, State Sen. Lisa Baker, state reps. Brenda Pugh and Alec Ryncavage were present along with special guest State Treasurer Stacy Garrity, who is seeking the office of governor.

RWLC President Sandy Debias said petition night was a chance to meet the candidates and sign petitions for the upcoming primary election.

Speakers included Meuser, Bresnahan, and Garrity, and all candidates were introduced.
