Kadysewski

Anthony “Tony” Kadysewski, content strategist and founder of FixturesCloseUp.com, was selected for inclusion in the 2026 Marquis Who’s Who directory.

Kadysewski was born in West Hazleton, has worked in Wilkes-Barre for decades, and lives in Drums. He holds engineering and planning degrees from Penn State University and has spent his career combining technical knowledge, marketing strategy, photography, publishing, and historical documentation.

Marquis Who’s Who has published biographical reference works recognizing notable professionals and leaders for more than 125 years. According to Marquis, Kadysewski’s professional listing will appear in Marquis Biographies Online (MBO), the company’s subscription reference database used by universities, libraries, researchers, journalists, executive recruiters, corporations, and other professional organizations.

Kadysewski has devoted more than five decades to advertising, marketing communications, retail merchandising, and retail fixture design. During a distinguished 30-year career with Trion Industries Inc. of Wilkes-Barre, he served as director of marketing communications and contributed to the development and promotion of merchandising systems used throughout the retail industry.

In 2019, he founded FixturesCloseUp.com, an online educational resource dedicated to retail fixtures, store planning, visual merchandising, point-of-purchase displays, and retail design. Since its launch, the website has grown into one of the world’s largest specialized archives in its field, publishing more than 28,000+ articles and 105,000+ images documenting retail merchandising practices, fixture innovations, and store environments. The website serves readers from around the world, including retailers, manufacturers, designers, educators, and students.

“I’m honored to be included in the 2026 Marquis Who’s Who directory,” said Kadysewski. “I view this recognition not only as a reflection of my own career, but also of the importance of preserving and sharing the history, technology, and creativity of the retail merchandising industry through FixturesCloseUp.”
