DALLAS TWP. — Dallas Township police say they will conduct a sobriety checkpoint the weekend of Aug. 28.

The enforcement effort is part of the police department’s ongoing commitment to keep roads safe and reduce the risk of impaired driving.

During the checkpoint, officers will stop vehicles to check for signs of impaired driving and to ensure that drivers are complying with Pennsylvania’s DUI laws.

Police remind motorists to have a designated driver or call a taxi or a ride-share service.
