Underwear theft reported at Victoria’s Secret in mall, again

WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Police Friday reported yet another theft of underwear from the Victoria’s Secret store in the Wyoming Valley Mall.

Police said a store manager Thursday night discovered 140 pairs of various underwear, valued at $2,180 were stolen. The theft is believed to have occurred between 2:45 p.m. and 3:40 p.m.. No description of a suspect was provided and no surveillance video is available, police said.

The reported theft is the latest at the store where last month more than 200 pairs of “cheeky” panties worth approximately $3,200 was stolen. The store reported thefts of bras earlier this year and last year.
