Morning commuters can expect a smooth ride into work this morning with free-flowing traffic and congestion free areas on Interstates 81 and 476 as well as Highway 309 coming from the Back Mountain area.
Heavy and minor congestion is being reported in the downtown Wilkes-Barre area along North and South River Street as well as Hazle Street and Carey Avenue.
Areas of congestion are also being reported near the Wyoming Valley Mall coming off Highway 309 and on Mundy Street.
Commuters can also expect to see heavy and minor congestion along Wyoming Avenue between Forty Fort and Plymouth.
