Tuesday’s snowy weather is impacting area school districts, with several calling for early dismissals.

According to WNEP-TV, several districts in Luzerne County have announced closures, including Crestwood (secondary, 11 a.m.; elementary, 12 p.m.), Greater Nanticoke Area (high school/education center, 10 a.m.; elementary, 11 a.m.), Hanover Area (high school, 11:15 a.m.; Memorial Elementary, 11:45 a.m.; Lee Park and Hanover Green, 12:15 p.m.), Hazleton Area Area (morning kindergarten, 10:15; high school, 11:30 a.m., middle school, 11:50 a.m.; elementary, 12:30 p.m.; no afternoon kindergarten), and Wilkes-Barre Area (senior/junior high, 10:30 a.m.; secondary, 10:45 a.m.; elementary 11:15 a.m.).
