HANOVER TWP. — Township police are searching for a man driving a dark-colored Ford pickup truck who is suspected in an attempted burglary at the Catholic War Veterans building early Tuesday.

Police said a witness spotted a white male in his early 20s acting suspicious near the building on Old Ashley Road at about 7:40 a.m.

When confronted by the witness, the man sped away in a Ford crew cab pickup, police reported.

Officers said there were multiple areas around the building where the man attempted to enter.

The suspect is described as standing approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a camouflage jacket and blue jeans.
