WILKES-BARRE — A woman said she was sexually assaulted in the area of the Ali Baba Lounge on South Main Street on Saturday, according to officers.
The alleged victim, a 33-year-old, went to a local medical center for treatment after the attack.
The incident was reported to city police early Sunday.
The suspect is described as a black male who is not known to the victim.
Police are continuing to investigate.
They had released no other information as of press time.
