JENKINS TWP. – Officers are investigating a home invasion that occurred in the Port Griffith section of the township.
According to a police report:
An elderly resident reported that a man came to the front door and identified himself as a utility worker, requesting to gain access to the electrical panel.
The man asked the resident to escort him to the electrical panel in the basement of the home. At this point, the man contacted another man using a foreign language. The first man detained the resident using threats in the basement, while a second man entered and burglarized the residence.
