WILKES-BARRE — A 26-year-old Ashley woman accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy waived her right to a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court on Wednesday.

Kala Evon Fuller, of West Hartford Street, will now face in county court the following charges: statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, tampering with evidence and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Fuller remains free on $15,000 unsecured bail, which means she didn’t have to post any money for her release.

Fuller was in a relationship with the teen for several months and was caught by the boy’s older brother having sexual relations in a bedroom of her home on June 21, according to a criminal complaint.

When officers showed up at the house where several minors were consuming alcohol, they said Fuller and the boy ran out a back door. Fuller then discarded a condom in a creek behind her house, the complaint says.
