WILKES-BARRE — One of two men accused of firing paint balls at houses last August was arraigned Friday.

City police said two houses on Wood Street were struck by paint balls Aug. 21, 2017.

Police searched the area and say they found Yuamir Supreme Grayson, 21, and Malcolm Jamar McLeod, 20, walking with paintball guns in the area of Horton and Carlisle streets.

Grayson and McLeod told police they were firing paint balls at each other, not knowing houses were struck, according to a criminal complaint.

Police on Sept. 5 charged Grayson and McLeod with disorderly conduct and intentionally defacing property.

Grayson was arraigned by District Judge Rick Cronauer on Friday and released on $1,000 unsecured bail. McLeod has not been arraigned.
