JENKINS TWP. — Township police arrested a man after a domestic dispute was followed by a scuffle with officers outside a Winter Street home early Friday.

Police responded to the residence just after 4 a.m. for a disturbance allegedly involving Anthony Greskewicz, 45, and Christylee Lehman, who claimed Greskewicz threw a sewing machine at her and held a knife to her face, threatening to kill her.

According to a criminal complaint:

An officer heard loud voices coming from inside the residence and asked Greskewicz to speak to him on the front porch.

Greskewicz allegedly told the officer he was arguing with Lehman, and that she had thrown a sewing machine at him and cut him with a knife. He claimed he pushed and held Lehman down to stop her from hurting him.

An officer from Pittston Township arrived to assist.

When an officer entered the residence to speak with Lehman, Greskewicz allegedly attempted to enter the residence but was told to stay outside.

Police allege Greskewicz became agitated and shoved both officers and throwing a punch at one officer.

When a Taser malfunctioned, an officer grabbed Greskewicz in an attempt to handcuff him. Greskewicz allegedly pulled the officer causing both to fall off the porch onto the ground.

Greskewicz continued to struggle with officers on the ground and kept one of his arms under his body.

Two additional officers arrived to assist with handcuffing Greskewicz.

Once Greskewicz was secured, police spoke with Lehman.

Lehman allegedly told police they were arguing and Greskewicz threw a wall decoration at her. She then claimed Greskewicz threw a sewing machine at her, grabbed a knife and held it to her face threatening to kill her, the complaint says.

Lehman further claimed Greskewicz held her down and choked her. When Greskewicz let her go, Lehman ran upstairs and called 911.

Police said Greskewicz sustained lacerations on his arms but he refused medical treatment. Greskewicz defecated in his pants during the struggle with officers, the complaint says.

While Greskewicz was being driven away, he allegedly called Lehman a derogatory name and threatened to return to the residence to kill her.

Greskewicz was arraigned by District Judge Alexandra Kokura Kravitz in Pittston on three counts each of simple assault and harassment, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count each of terroristic threats, strangulation, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $150,000 bail.
