WEST PITTSTON — Narcotic agents with the state Office of Attorney General arrested a West Pittston woman they allege sold heroin with children in her vehicle.
Ana Viccica, 31, of Wyoming Avenue, was arrested Tuesday in the 100 block of Exeter Avenue while in possession of 17 bundles of heroin, or 170 packets, according to arrest papers.
According to a criminal complaint:
Authorities arranged to buy heroin from Viccica on March 22.
She was contacted via cell phone and agreed to exchange heroin for cash, telling the buyer to meet her in the 300 block of Kennedy Boulevard in Pittston.
Viccica arrived at the location with two children in her vehicle.
Narcotic agents set up a second meeting with Viccica to buy heroin March 26.
Viccica met the buyer along Route 315 in Pittston Township, again arriving with two children.
Viccica was arraigned by District Judge Brian Tupper in Kingston Township on three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and two counts of endangering the welfare of children and criminal use of a communication facility. She was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $100,000 bail.
Court records say Viccica was sentenced in March 2017 to one to two years in prison after Kingston police found 16 bundles of heroin inside a residence on North Thomas Avenue in May 2016.
