ASHLEY — Police are searching for a man they allege physically and sexually assaulted a roommate inside their South Main Street apartment earlier this week.

Al-Quadir Hubbard, 28, is accused of severely beating a 46-year-old woman early Wednesday. Police said the woman remained hospitalized Friday.

An arrest warrant signed by District Judge Joseph Halesey in Hanover Township charges Hubbard with two counts each of aggravated assault and indecent assault, and one count each of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

Hubbard is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 160 pounds, and with a tattoo on his neck that reads “11-30-07.”
